When I was three years old, I struggled to fall asleep. I was so restless at night that my mother could not sleep either.

After trying everything she could think of, she taught me a breathing technique that helped my body relax, and she taught me how to meditate.

There was nothing spiritual about it. She had simply run out of other options.

I learned to relax my body one part at a time. When my body became completely still, I began to see movement and visual impressions inside and around it.

I assumed this was ordinary.
I was twenty before I discovered that it wasn't.

Seeing energy came naturally to me.
Learning to understand what I was seeing took years.

I began exploring energy consciously at twenty-one and started teaching at twenty-five. Seventeen years of learning what to do with what I see, and more than a decade of teaching it. I spent seven years leading energy practice groups, and have since worked privately with individuals, including teachers, practitioners and healers.

Much of my private work is with people who come to me after everything else has already been looked at. That is where I am most useful, because I can see the patterns underneath what they are experiencing.

For much of that time, I had another very public career.
I became one of Estonia's leading makeup artists.

I could spend an hour inches away from somebody's face, see what was happening in their field, finish their eyeliner and say absolutely nothing about what I saw.

Today I teach because seeing without understanding becomes confusing.

You can see a great deal and still have no idea what to do with what you see.

Where I am now

I teach the part that comes next.

You learn to see more clearly. You learn to question your first interpretation. You learn to recognise your own patterns, and practical ways of working with them.

I do not want you to need me to tell you what your energy is doing.

I want you to understand your energy, and yourself, through it.
